All I can suggest is you read the guidelines fully before uploading.
Provided the image is in focus and clear, the most important part is to make sure it is named correctly. The format is Common Name - Scientific Name. Note the Capital letters and the -, all are necessary. Also at least duplicate this in the Keyword Field, only this time remove the -.
Obviously if the image is a scene, then we don't expect Scientific Names! If your not sure of the correct name, then make sure you upload to the unidentified gallery. You can then raise a thread to have the subject identified. This gallery is not moderated so your image will go straight in.
If you do this, You'll find your images will be happily accepted.
