Hi austringer and welcome. Even though technically you were here before me.
Hawks are nice but I have a problem with Sparrowhawks, who haunt our valley. They take tits, sparrows and pretty well anything that files out in the open.
Heres my problem.
I'm trying to encourage diversity in the vally, as best I can without being heavy handed. But Sparrowhawks are taking many of the small birds I am trying to encourage.
You got any advice on discouraging them? Bear in mind, they are truly magnificent things and I welcome them. But they are starting to get the upper hand in the valley.
