Joined a little while ago and have been reading mostly the Insect and Bird forums ever since.
Such a wealth of information here, I'm speechless!
I'm also realising just how much you all know ... and conversely... just how little *I* know. So please be patient with me, while I find my feet! (And some knowledge!)
You know... right off I really identified with some of you here, it's good to know that I'm not the only one going through life moving snails to safer places, rehoming spiders instead of hoovering them up, or helping lost wasps out of the house!
I love spiders, I have literally lots in every room of my house, mostly the cellar spider, Pholcus Phalangioides, I really respect them and actively encourage them.
I've a few Orb Weavers too and not too many house spiders.
But I'm very interested in Insects, too, and the regular garden birds.
Despite having 2 cats, I have a great number of birds visit my garden every day, so hopefully sometime soon I'll get around to posting some pics.
