Yes it's a Canon, the "L" range are the pro lenses and the 70-200 f4 is the cheapest of the bunch but a great little walkaround lens. If anyone is interested in getting Canon glass cheap drop me a PM and I'll give you the details of the guy I used. He sells on ebay but will deal direct to avoid the fees - I saved £40 off his ebay price that way and about £100 off UK prices.
