A friend of mine has recently upgraded..he wished he hadn't bothered. Yes, he get amazing download speeds, but he hardly ever downloads! His browsing speeds haven't changed at all!
Don't forget that internet speed is a two way thing. Take the problems this site was having, it was nothing to do with our computers but the server that had the errors. No speed increase on your line would have made any difference to that. So unless you're sure the site you want the speed from has plenty of capacity, it's not worth it! |
