| Re: Adders and Common lizards Hi all,
you wont believe what happened today!!I have been working on a large house which sits a stones throw from Devon sea cliffs. Its a fantastic spot with views of Peregrines,Buzzards,Kestrels and the odd Sparrow hawk.....sometimes all in one day! The view over Lyme bay often shows Dolphins and Porpoises etc.Basically the Flora and Fauna is fantastic!Anyway,I was walking with a work mate down the steep path to the Beach(which is part of the grounds of the house.......it shouldnt be allowed.......unless I own it!)I said to him "I am determined to see Adders this year", he replied "Well there you go, there is one!". I caught site of the Adder as he said it.....about 2 feet away!Got a good look for about 30 seconds, but not long enough to get my camera out of my shoulder bag:-( I am out again the weekend, and I am going to get further advice as to Adder locations from a friend in the know.I will be posting competition winning photos soon......................:-P Cheers,
