Practical Photography recently ran a competition for wildlife pictures with captions. As I'm always ready to steal a good idea I thought we could do something similar here. No winners or losers and no prizes either but it could be a bit of fun.
The original competition stated "Your captions can be funny, erudite or informative, but they must complement your image in such a way that it adds to the viewer's enjoyment and should be no longer than 25 words."

By the third evening of their fishing trip, Colin's endless stories
about "the one that got away" were starting to wear a bit thin.
