Yes, have updated the firmware. The menu is a lot 'cooler' Yellow writing over black, not a lot of difference besides that. Can't say I've noticed much difference in the autofocus - hadn't used the autofocus much on the camera before the update, so can't really say!

The biggest difference was how Raw images were written/compressed/read on the flashcard. Before the upgrade, I could get about 96 Raw images on a 1GB card, after the upgrade, I can now get 178 Raws on the card - almost double! Work that one out!

I usually use the Raw+Jpeg option, and use the jpegs to review the images on the computer, so I don't have to wait an age for the Raws to load - much quicker editing! I can also use the jpegs for WAB Gallery without messing with the Raws.

It'll do me...for now! All I have to do now is save up for a macro lens...and so on, and so on
