Hi,
I thought I would take this opportunity to introduce myself.
I am new to this forum and fairly new to discovering that there is a world beyond my computer screen.
I recently (3.5 years ago) moved to Cambridgeshire from London and have had my eyes opened to the wildlife roaming the countryside. To be honest I have lost count of how many times I have said 'What's that?' to my partner. She finds it hilarious.
In the past 3 years I have taken to visiting wildlife reserves and now with my newly discovered eyes I am enjoying taking in all that Britain has to offer.
Looking in the garden is not the same as it was in the past. I have even invested in a complicated camera (Digital SLR). Who knows, I might even learn to use it some time.
I built a pond last year (my first) and it has become established very quickly. We are frequently visited by frogs, toads, dragonflies, damselflies, all sorts of spiders,
Hedgehogs, cats, mosquitoes of course, insects I can't name and deer! To name a few. :-)
I have loads of stories and pictures which I look forward to sharing with you.
Lyndon
