Hello Frances

It may just be a little early for guaranteed Nightjars. They are one of the later spring/summer arrivals and as we all know spring has sprung late this year.

I usually go Nightjar watching in late June/early July at Westleton Heath in Suffolk and I am always successful then .... as are the zillions of biting insects that come out to feed on us mad birdwatchers
