| Re: I love this time of year ... This time of year Gulls start to make their presence felt. Every evening before dusk I get hundreds and as the Autumn progresses thousands of mainly Lesser Black Backs with a few Black-headed Gulls flying to roost over the garden. All heading north from the fields where they have been feeding during the day to various roosing sites at local gravel pits or even the reservoir to the west of Oxford. Occasionally lucky to get a Great Black Back or Herring Gull with them.
