I guess its a gypsey/ traveller tradition so they dont see it as "mindless"...i doubt the van would be legally registered either so the reg wont be much cop ( although i guess they would have been nicked in this instance so maybe it was legit).
Do they take the hares once caught to eat?...not sure how it works but i guess its just a way of getting a free meal for themselves if that is the case?...not that i agree with it at all. Or is it another betting ring...whos dog catches it first kind of thing?
Not that i like ANY dogs but why oh why would people choose a lurcher?...my non gypsey law degree friend has 2 and they are like 2 walking brillo pipe cleaners and certainly not cuddly...unless you slept with a straw filled scarecrow instead of a teddy bear as a child?
