Actually the 13th leads you over to the new year, there are 12 and a half. I was talking about how the Pagan wheel of the year is connected and rolls over to the conjoining year from 12th month to the 1st again. But in a sense your right.
Here are the names of the 12 Pagan moons........
- January – Wolf Moon
- February – Snow Moon
- March – Worm Moon
- April – Pink Moon
- May – Flower Moon
- June – Strawberry Moon
- July – Buck or Sturgeon Moon
- August – Fruit or Barley Moon
- September – Harvest Moon
- October – Hunters Moon or Blood Moon
- November – Beaver Moon
- December – Cold or Long Nights Moon
These may differ slightly depending on what pagan tradition you are.
