This afternoon I found more lichen (see below). I thought that the first may also be Evernia prunastri, but possibly in an earlier stage? Am I right? It was growing on an oak tree. The second was growing on a twig (not sure what kind). Any idea what this is? Sorry, I know my photos aren't the best.
I am beginning to realise that trying to catalogue everything in my garden is a mammoth task. I had not even thought about lichens until now!
