Thankyou all, sorry I didn't post the subject in mammals but i struggled to work out how to post a new subject.
It did look like the
Mink but the one i saw was so beautiful he almost looked like a pet and the fact he just didn't run off when he saw us sort of amused me. I wasn't sure if we were amazed by him or if he was amazed by us. His coat was very glossy like velvet but obviously longer fur and he was small cat sized. Is it unusual for them to be found in a relatively built up area as there is an industrial space nearby although there is countryside around it. I feel privileged to have seen him.
