The homepage is obviously the first page that most new visitors arrive at and they were apparently finding it all too confusing with too much info and not enough guidance on what to do or how to find anything.
We were getting a lot of bounces (only viewing the homepage before leaving the site) so we're planning on producing a fairly simple homepage with just a few links that are most important to new users - how to join, how to post, FAQs, rules etc - as well some basic info about WAB. |
