Now I don't pretend to like cats and I'll put up with them if they're not in my garden but my neighbour rang the other day to say her black cat Hermoine had gone missing.
I searched everywhere that I could think she may be hiding and nothing. A day passes and she's still not back.
Yesterday she'd struggled home with a dogs choke chain wrapped tightly around her neck
Fortunately there are no physical injuries (other than a sore/bruised neck) but she hasn't left the comfort of the understairs cupboard since - poor thing
Beggars belief eh....
