Coincidentally, the coal tits were the first to reappear after I stopped putting out food in the summer - in fact, they probably didn't go: saw them a few times picking insects off the shrubs.
Otherwise, first to reappear at the feeder were nuthatches - looks as if they raised a brood succesfully.
