My bird of the day was without doubt this juvenile Spotted Flycatcher. A few weeks ago I posted some shots of the parent birds, who were obviously feeding young on the nest. Last week there was no sign of them and I began to think they had failed. Today I almost shouted out when I spotted this juvenile in superb condition!
