Your garden sounds fantastic. I can't wait until I have my own garden to make wildlife-friendly! For now I rent a cottage and have to make do with a couple of bird feeders
I was always the same as you - I remember rescueing woodlice and putting them in a hollow of the apple tree when I was about ten! I'm 23 now and not much has changed!
