My bird of today is the group of Turnstone i saw whilst a walk around Covenham Res in lincolnshire, there was around 8 altogether in late summer colours just getting winter plumage

fantasic little birds and not at all scared of us.
Also spotted my first Ruddy Duck a female, and loads of Coot, Great Crested Grebe, A few Redshank and a couple of Greenshank and Sanderling. And a late leaving Swift
