| Hawfinch ?
Is it possible that I may have seen a Hawfinch in my garden? It was early morning first week of August this year perched at the very top of a large hawthorn tree at the bottom of the garden. I told myself it couldnt be a Hawfinch because they are rather elusive and not very common? I don't have a photo but would love to know if any bird watchers know of any Hawfinch sightings in this area around that time? |
