Hi Dave - I love the Lake District too. My husband and son (aged 11) have just come back from a few days away and they did Red Pike + Haystacks (I love Buttermere and we often do Mosedale around the Christmas period - in fact that's where I saw my first and only
Stoat in ermine) they also did Great Gable because my son wanted to get a photo of himself at the memorial at the top for something he's been asked to do at the school he starts in September.
I've not been proper walking in ages and really miss it.
