Im assuming you mean canadian pond weed Elodea sp, what problems is it actually causing? its not a bad thing have lots of oxygen in the pond, some ponds are swamped with it and it has little effect, it can add nitrates like all plants and if growing to much can cause problems, however if there isnt any problems just lots of weed best left or if you want rid of it as Tursiops2 has said leave it on the edge of the pond or pick out anything living in it. |
