I have to say I'm a little enviouse of your being up that way for a few days. I will be passing through there tomorrow on my up to work in Scotland but won't have any time to go anywhere while I am there. |
That's the Whinlatter centre. They've reared 3 ospreys this year. There's a camera on the nest still, as they often pop back. We were told they had been back to the nest early that morning.
At WWT Caerlaverock in Scotland they also have a nest cam on an Ospreys nest. This year they failed to lay any eggs. We went in one of the hides where the wardens were keeping a lookout for them on the Solway. They had seen one with a fish on a piece of driftwood earlier and one flying over.
