I can assure you that I am NOT a wind up. After I saw it I was so taken back by it's colour that I spent quite a while googling "pink butterfly" & this was the only website that came up with any info. It landed on my daughters wendyhouse for a minute, if that, & as I don't have any flowers in my garden I bet it wont come back again, I can say it was between 5 & 6pm as we had just come back from walking my dog. I didn't take too much noice of the body but my husband said it was black, I just remember it being quite small & bright pink. Sorry if I'm repeating myself but believe me I saw it. If anything it's made me more aware of butterfles now & will be showing them to my daughter as she grows up, I just wish I saw a few more interesting ones that the usual cabbage white (is that what it's called?) SO please stop saying this is a hoax as it gets me mad
I really saw it, I do now take on board what Adam has said although that just means we may never find out what it is
