Punishment should obviously be implemented but a damn good thrashing may be all some of these kids have ever known, and if that's the case they will be long since have become immune to it.
An interesting point Gill, but I believe people in bad homes can't afford crossbows etc. The people who carry out these acts have no respect for any decent values.
Just found this link ( no cruel images etc.) these people were on holiday and had a car. They just have contempt for anything civilised and decent.
