| Re: Spider ID please ok hers the background, where Im from Ive only seen small spiders, maybe the size of your nail including legs or the bigger ones but they are really really thin, and even those only outdoors. If someone would have told me this kinda huge spiders exists outside the tropics I wudnt have belived him.
This big fat version of spiders I encounter in the UK freaks me out, a while ago I woke up at night to see one of them cute fellows 2 feet away from me on the wall, managed to catch it and researched, dont remeber the name but it was the fastest spider in the world with 4km/h and it sort of runs backwards and turning around.
I know the houses are old and theres no way of sealing them properly but after the encounter with the spider mentioned above and today with this cute fellow, Id be able to fall asleep faster knowing that they dont have any relatives wandering about the house or crawling around/in the bed.
Maybe you get used to them if you grow up with this kinda pet but I didnt and I cant imagine ever not minding them. As Ive said small version or very very thin ones ok, but big fat spiders freak me out, so any constructive solutions welcome.
Thanks again,
