today i saw the most amazing thing. on the bush of ragwort in our garden there is a single solitary cinibar moth caterpillar stil surviving. today there was a mean old wasp trying to attack it, and the moth was rearing up and waving about. i was convinced the moth would buy the farm, but amazingly after what seemed like ages, the wasp gave up and left the caterpillar to do its thing! how cool is that?!
