What will?? Tagging dogs ?. Is it only dogs that are owned by "druggies and criminals" that attack people? I don't think so.
My point is, druggies and criminals already feel they're above the law so they are more likely to flout it. Dogs are leverage to these people, if one gets destroyed, so what, they will get another. Decent people are more likely to respect the law, even if their dog is trained and owned responsibly. Any dog is can bite. What's interesting is that many people don't realise that Staffies were the original fighting dog, even before pit bulls and even now many have a split personality. They can be great with people yet turn on a dog in an instant. I think they're lovely in the right hands. Many cases of attack come from dogs that are not properly controlled, dogs used as status symbols or from people that didn't realise what they were taking on, they didn't do their homework beforehand, big problem. I would like to see more laws targetting pet owners, not automatically banning certain breeds. People get bitten by many different breeds of dog, so this law won't really protect people.

Sorry for the late reply, been away for 2 weeks, now playing catch up .
