Miy camera uses Quick time and I use arcsoft Video Impressions to convert it to AVI
I think Arcsoft Video Impressions suports most files . It also can extract music from the video and still leave the video in tact. the only thing is it leaves a fat file that is why you need movie maker to reduce it
I have all the arcsoft progs.
I will check if it suports Mov I have a feleling it does. Will get back to you on this
