Chicks are not easy to ID, but I'm confident it's not Green Woodpecker- the feet + bill are wrong. Woodpeckers have 2 forward pointing toes + 2 back.
I'm wondering whether it might be a Skylark chick; bill shape looks right + strong looking feet suggest a bird that spends considerable time on the ground. |
