| Re: New TV channel Twas a very good programme on the Horse and country last night, "the farm that time forgot" I think it was shown on the BBC about 10 years ago. Some excellent film of the wildlife that lives within the boundaries of the farm. It was almost like "springwatch" but with out the presenters taking the lime light. A nice mix of the day to day farm life and the wildlife.
I also watched the "Trees that make Britain" on one of the UKGold channels. Another fab series.
And yes wildwoman there is a lot of rubbish and misery on the TV, and having been without TV for 4 months at the start of the year, I have to say I didn't really miss it and so my viewing habits have changed. I now know how to use the off switch. But there are still a lot of good programmes as well.
Each to there own, eh, and as you say WAB is always there.
