I wondered if it is very common?
I have always grown it in the garden, I even dig some up to take with me when I move house  . I knew it was a loosestrife but didn't know it was "spotted loosestrife" thanks Black | Hiya!
We have it in our garden as well and we have always taken a bit when we have moved! We have always known it as Yellow Loosestrife.
