nice one deer stalker - I havent shot deer for a long while and clearly am not quite conversant with the law on this - if i do need to in future i'll bear this in mind.
re stripees question you need to have permision of the landowner to shoot on their land - as regards common land some people stand on their common rights but this may be legally dodgy and i certainly wouldnt advise it - nearly all commons big enoughto support deer are managed by somebody and a wise man would get this managers permission before engaging in any shooting.
I don't hunt for sport - so in my case all my deer control has been at the behest of conservation managers who have despaired of finding any other way of stopping the deer from disrupting the woodland/heathland ecosystem
and as regards LLs photo he's wearing a camoflage hood / face cover - either that or hes secretly an ent
