| Hello from Ilkley
Hi, I just joined today to see if anyone could identify a large fly I'd seen while walking on Ilkley Moor this afternoon. It only took a few minutes to get an ID! And I can see what a good site this is, so I intend to stick around.
I suppose I have a general interest in natural history, everything from birds to pond life to geology to the weather, though at one time I was a devotee of reptiles and amphibians. For the past few years I've been lucky enough to live with a moor up the road, and that's where I go as often as possible to check out the wild stuff.
I look forward to getting stuck in here! |
