The Heron that visits landed outside my porch in front of half a dozen visitors yesterday I do not know which was more suprised! Such a handsome bird and it only weighs around 3lbs.!
It has become less of a visitor since a pair of gulls took up residence on the chimney of a masonic hall down the road,they give it short-shrift when it enters their airspace.
