Hi all
I hope none of you have suffered with flooding over the last few days.
I put the feeder in the shrubs and I'm sure those pigeons would breask their wings to get to the grub! It's still emptying in a day.
I'm getting 10kg seed from CJs today and I will let you know how long it lasts. The starlings do eat a lot too but I've had fun watching my families being brought up - I can't even tell which are the baby pigeons.
My baby blackbirds haven't fledged yet - this is their second or third attempt, can't wait.
All's well here, haven't really been out much in the garden due to all the rain and squelch, but overall it's been a great year for the birds, I don't think I ever had so many.
And I have two cats, but they are of a posh variety with very pale blue eyes so they have to keep them closed when they're outdoors
