You ask above if this is going to put some redundant grass in the image, but it doesn't need to. If you go back to your original image, crop it as you have above, and then simply resize the crop to 800 pixels wide. You will have exactly the same field of view as in your image above, but the image will be larger.

If you spread out the pixels to make it wider does it effect the quality of the picture Matt?
