I recently went camping in the Lake district and saw a brid that I was, and am still unable to identify. Unfortunately I did not manage to take a phtotgraph of it. It was a light brown on it's back and wings and cream/white belly. When it flew I noticed that it had a white tail with a black chevron on it. It was smaller than a blackbird in size.
I have looked online and in several bird books and have not been able to identify it; does anyone have any idea what this might be?
