| Re: I so sad, (may offend cat owners) I came home from a walk the other day to find a starling in the front room. Earlier I had left the back door open for the dogs, it was raining and I guess he had flown in unnoticed.
He took us all by surprise and what happend next was too quick for me.
The bird took off and Max took after him. Not much I could do. by the time I caught up with them (expecting to clean up the mess) I found Bird and Max on the kitchen floor, bird hopping around, Max sniffing him. Told him he was a good boy and opened the doors for the bird.
Max is a very strong, young, German shepherd. He can seem very intimidating. But he is not a cat. I am not saying he wouldn't hurt a fly, he certainly would. well not flies but threats and he does bite. well he bit me, my fault. Theres just nothing bad about him. He wouldn't kill something just because he could. and there's the rub. There is something wrong with cats.
I have thought about buying Max a kitten to help bring out his feminine side but I can't come to terms with cats desire to kill, kill, kill. Even with Max as its mother it would grow up a killer.
And they give you fleas.
Well thats my 2 cents worth, again.
