Went for a walk this evening and heard then saw 2 Curlews fly straight over my head, had no idea curlews were around here, are they common ? i've only ever seen them in Scotland - made for a great evening anyway.

Hi Longshanks. Curlews can be common in the right habitat.

Hi Floozie. Blue spots can appear on Sloworms as they get older.
