Then most likely a leaf-beetle - wrong colour for the dock beetle (
Gastrophysa viridula) but (there are pics in the gallery) you will see the similarities .... sorry, not enough detail for me to help but perhaps others will recognise it - put a link to the picture in the insects forum ...
