My old mans thumb (the top end) swelled up a bit. Probably a bit like a wasp or bee sting. He probably sucked anything out. When he got it in the ankle in Borneo he could not reach the bite and the Ghurka was sucking it as he carried him to the mecical centre, whilst at the same time grabbing the snake so it could identified. Apparently any delay and he would have carcked it.
