Hi There, I'm a newbie on this site but find it great. I use a Nikon D200 with the 80-400 f4.5 VR. I also have a convertor which is a Kenko Pro Plus 1.4. This has the necessary contacts and I have had no trouble with it - AF etc all work... BUT I do find this is a bright light only combo as you are starting to push the limits. Also the AF may hunt a little if you have no clear definition for it to lock on - all in all it is a great lens, but also a great weight. Monopod/tripod needed.
