It must be lovely to have your old books, it seems an increasingly popular to restore old garden to how they were pre war or when they were first designed with help of old plans and records - fancy being in on something like that
Have you come across any Gertrude Jekyll books yet - what an inspiration she was - I love her gardening style, but I see you are more in to formal design.
