Many years ago my eldest son decided to go on a Dawn Chorus walk locally
I am used to getting up early so took him along,the walk leader really knew
his stuff and named the birds from their songs before we even caught a glimpse!
Just seeing things while the day was so new the air cool and clean every
bird newly minted,the subtle shading in the sky as the sun stretches skyward
makes the bird song a beautiful bonus
I am still hoping to go to the Slimbridge Dawn Chorus but have a Bat Walk
in the evening (Leigh Woods Bristol)
