Chester zoo helping UK conservation.

Just had a day out in Chester Zoo and discovered that they have alot of projects going on dealing with our native wildlife. We all know they have countless breeding programmes going on trying to preserve endangered species from all over the world, which is good but also nice to see they're playing a part in preserving our own. Harvest Mice, Water Voles, owls and certain trees all featured. They also have a breeding programme ongoing for the Sand Lizard and have been reintroducing it into some areas of the UK, including North Wales.
