I do tend to use word for the majority of postings so that I can do a spell and grammer check, as I have a habit of omitting words, adding random words that have no place in what I am saying and also putting letters in the wrong place. I am very pleased that my current employement choose to actually do telephone interviews for the intial contact rather than hand written letter and cv. After all the covering letter is only asking for the job and can cv's really be trusted? Surely its about the person and what they can contribute to a position rather than what is written down.

I understand why people do feel strongly about the english language, spelling and grammer, but well some people cant help it. It would be a very boring place if we were all the same.
