I think people are moving away from the original post which was about spellcheckers. Comments are being made about remarks which have never been stated or even intended and words being 'placed in people's mouths'. Of course not everyone is of the same standard but does that mean therefore, we accept the lowest for ourselves? We do need to care and also care about those who are not so adept or well trained so in the case of spelling what is wrong with a spellchecker? It's a great tool, use it!
